Greetings, brethren!
I think we are all still enjoying the blessings of our Iron Sharpeneth Iron Preachers Revival from last month. Every speaker was “spot on” and our keynote speakers, Bro. David Gibbs and Pastor Clarence Sexton, both “hit it out of the park”. We had good crowds and the altar was full after more than one service. We do pray that we will see fruit abounding as a result of the meeting. A special thanks to Bro. Haney for his vision for this meeting, for putting it together and hosting it. I also know he appreciates everyone who attended, who helped make it happen and who contributed to the financial support. We are please to announce that our offerings were enough to meet the needs! Praise the Lord for all He has done!!
Our next meeting is Thursday, February 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church where Bro. Tony Hyatt is the pastor. Our scheduled preachers are Bro. Wayne Henderson and Bro. Kenny Kuykendall. Pray for a great meeting.
Directions to Calvary Baptist Church, 176 Cottonwood Mill Rd • Tunnel Hill, GA 30755 – From Chattanooga: Go south on I-75. Take exit 345 and go South on US 76/41 for 4.5 miles. Turn onto Cottonwood Mill Road and go .2 miles. The church will be on your right. From points south: Take I –75 exit 336 and turn left onto US 76/41. Go 4.5 miles and turn left onto Cottonwood Mill Road and go .2 miles. The church will be on your right.
Mark your calendars now for the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Independent Baptist Fellowships of Georgia statewide meeting. The meeting this year is March 30-31 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro, GA where Bro. Joe Arthur, the State co-moderator, is the pastor.
