Greetings, brethren!
The Lord was good and we had a sweet time of fellowship at our last meeting. Bro. Tim McCulley and the good people of Philadelphia Baptist Church did a wonderful job of hosting the meeting. Bro. Larry Underwood brought a message on the love of God which he preached from his years of experience in walking with the Lord. Bro. Jeff Fugate was so kind to drive down from Lexington, KY to preach a great message from Haggai 2 on “Words of Encouragement”.
Our next meeting is Thursday, May 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the Way of the Cross Baptist Church in McDonald, Tennessee (Cleveland area) where Bro. Johnny Nix is the pastor. Our scheduled preachers are Bro. Shane Lewis, the pastor of Somerville Baptist Church in Somerville, AL and Bro. McCulley has asked me to preach as well. Pray for us that “the word of the Lord may have free course.”
Directions to Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 3191 South Lee Highway McDonald, TN 37353. From Interstate 75: Take exit 20 and go east on US64 for 1.2 miles. Take the Lee Hwy/US11 exit. Turn right off the ramp and go south 1 mile. The church will be on your left. From Dalton, GA: Take Cleveland Hwy/Rt 71 north into Tennessee until it becomes TN Rt 60. Continue on Rt 60 10.8 miles. Turn right on McGrady Drive and go .2 miles. Turn left onto US 64 bypass west. Go 3.3 miles to the Lee Hwy/US 11 exit. Turn left off the ramp onto US 11 south and go 1.2 miles. The church will be on your left.
