Dear Preacher
The September fellowship meeting at Bible Baptist Church was a blessed meeting. The Lord blessed our hearts through the special singing and both messages, Bro. Mike Combs Jr. Preached on the subject “Enjoy the Ride”. He took his text from 2 Corinthians chapter 4. Our second preacher was Bro. Mark Lancaster. He brought his message from Psalms 85:1-6 on “Results of Revival”. What a great blessing to be reminded of the ups and downs we experience in the ministry and see the results when God gives us Revival. Thanks preachers for the good encouragement. We also want to thank Bro. Ricky Gravley and all the Bible Baptist church family for being a gracious host and for providing the good meal for all the preachers.
Our Next meeting will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 7th, 2010 @ Philadelphia Baptist Church, in Calhoun, GA the host Pastor is Bro. Timothy McCulley. The Preachers for October are Bro. James Dunn the Pastor of the Lifegate Baptist Church in Hixon, TN and Bro. Dan Reed the Pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Acworth, GA.
Directions to Philadelphia Baptist Church; From Chattanooga, TN take I-75 south to Exit 312, then yield right onto Hwy.53. Go 1 mile to Bojangles. Take a left onto Hwy. 41 south and go 3.5 miles, church sign will be on left. Take a left at church sign, Hensley Rd. Go up the hill ½, mile church on left.
From Atlanta, take I-75 north to Exit 306. Turn left at light back across the I-75 and go 1 mile to Hwy. 41 and go right onto hwy 41 north. Go 4 miles church sign will be on the right. Turn right at sign onto Hensley Road, and go up the hill ½, mile and church will be on the left.
A van will be leaving the Moriah Baptist Church at 8:45 a.m. for those that need a ride from the Chattanooga and Ft. Oglethorpe area. Also a van will leave the K Mart parking lot in Dalton at 9:00 am for those that need a ride. Please pray for the October meeting, always invite and bring another preacher with you. The Pastor and Church family of Philadelphia Baptist are planning a special day of fellowship; pray the Lord will help us be a blessing to them as I know they will to us.
