Greetings, brethren!
Our last meeting was a great blessing. We want to thank Bro. Randy Lynn and the members of Moriah Baptist Church for hosting our August meeting. The fellowship was sweet, the meal was satisfying, and the preaching was super! Bro. Virgil Smith preached on three traits every preacher needs to be the most useful in God’s hands and Bro. Gary Ledford preached on “Branches for the Booths” from Nehemiah 8:15. Both messages were from the heart and were very much appreciated.
Our next meeting is Thursday, September 4, 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in East Ridge, TN where Bro. Chris Peponis is the pastor. Our scheduled preachers are Bro. Mark Brandon, pastor of Tiftonia Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and Bro. Tim McCulley, pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Calhoun. We look forward to a great meeting.
Directions to Fellowship Baptist Church, 5335 Clemons Road, East Ridge, TN 37412: from points south take I-75N to TN exit 1B; from points north take I-75S to TN exit 1 and turn right. Go west on Ringgold Road until traffic light #5. Turn left onto Maxwell Road. Go to the 1st stop sign and turn right onto Clemons Road. Go until it dead ends into the church.
We are now scheduling our meetings for next year. If you are interested in hosting one of our monthly fellowship meetings, please contact Bro. Haney as soon as possible.
One last thing, don’t forget our mid-winter preachers revival “Iron Sharpeneth Iron” scheduled for January 12-13, 2015. We would also ask that you consider a special offering to help cover the expenses for this meeting. It promises to be a something very special!
