Greetings, brethren!
We thank the Lord for a great meeting last month which was an unusual evening meeting. Bro. Brian Haney and the good folks at Anchor of Hope did a great job hosting the meeting. We enjoyed a wonderful meal before the service and then enjoyed two great messages – both from 2 Kings! (do you think the second preacher got a little nervous when the first announced his text?) Bro. Terry Ellis preached on “The Test of Elisha’s Resolve” from 2 Kings 2 and Bro. Scott Pauley preached on “The Holy Man of God” from 2 Kings 4. Both messages were “just what the doctor” ordered! We’re grateful for everyone that helped make the meeting a good one.
Our next meeting is Thursday, May 8, 10:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church where Bro. Rick Spence is the pastor. The scheduled preachers are Bro. Ricky Gravley from Bible Baptist Church in Rossville and Bro. Leland Frazier, pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Dayton, TN. We look forward to a great time of fellowship and the blessings of the Lord.
Directions to New Life Baptist Church, 2620 Old Grade Road, Dalton, GA 30721. From I-75 take exit 333 and go east on Hwy 52/Walnut Avenue. Go 4.5 miles and turn right onto Old Grade Road. The church will be immediately on your right. .
