Dear Preacher

“Praise the Lord!” What a great time of Preaching and fellowship we had at the Philadelphia Baptist Church. What a blessing to hear the young folks of the Philadelphia Christian School sing for the Lord. It blessed my heart to see another generation being trained to serve the Lord Jesus in a day when so many are rejecting the “Old Time Religion.” We heard two great messages. First Bro. Jason Cofield preached a challenging message from Judges 27:8, Ch.6-8 on “Gideon, the mighty man of valour.” Second Bro. Ricky Gravley brought a thought provoking message on “He doesn’t run with our crowed”. He used Mark 9:38 – 41. We want to thank both of these great preachers for the good encouragement from God’s word. Also we want to thank Pastor Tim McCulley and all the members of Philadelphia Baptist Church for being gracious host and providing the delicious meal for all the preachers.

Our next meeting will be at the Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN on Thursday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. where Bro. Jason Grubbs is the host Pastor. The scheduled preachers are Dr. Terry Ellis, President of the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry in Cleveland, TN and Rev. Steve Grubbs, Pastor Emeritus of Shenandoah Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. Special singing will be provided by the Shenandoah Girls Home.

Here are the directions: From Chattanooga, TN; take I-75 N toward KNOXVILLE. (go 13.0 miles), Merge onto US-74 E/APD 40 via EXIT 20 toward CLEVELAND/US-11/CHEROKEE NATIONAL FOREST.
