Greetings, brethren!
We had a wonderful time at Whitfield Baptist Church last month. Bro. Bud Marteen preached a message “Somebody, Go Get Jesus” that is greatly needed as so many people need the Lord. Bro. Tony Howeth preached from 1 Kings 17 to encourage preachers in their dealings with people, an area that often very challenging. It was very helpful. We are very appreciative to these men and to Bro. Wayne Cofield and his folks there at Whitfield Baptist Church for doing such a great job.
Our next meeting is Thursday, April 10 at Anchor of Hope Baptist Church where our moderator, Bro. Brian Haney, is the pastor. Bro. Haney has scheduled this meeting for the evening so be sure you are aware of the schedule. There will be a supper served for preachers beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please RSVP if you plan on eating. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. We are blessed to have two great preachers scheduled for this meeting: Bro. Terry Ellis, President of Rock of Ages Prison Ministry, and Bro. Scott Pauley, Vice President of Crown College. You will not want to miss this fantastic evening. Of course, the preaching service is open to anyone who wants to attend.
