Greetings, brethren!
My what a sweet time we had at our last meeting. We had the great privilege to hear two “senior soldiers” preach the sweet message of the gospel. Bro. Evertie Moore (in his early 80’s) preached on the Great Commission, a message he has certainly lived there in the mountains of Kentucky. Bro. Roy Groce (in his early 90’s) preached on a “7 Strand Cord” from John 10:27-30. We want to thank Bro. Ernest Groce and Victory Baptist Church for hosting the meeting. They did a great job and we had a blessed time.
Our next meeting is Thursday, August 2, at 10:00 a.m. at the Moriah Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia where Bro. Randy Lynn is the pastor. Our scheduled preachers are Bro. Chris Peponis, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in East Ridge, and Bro. Wayne Cofield, pastor of Whitfield Baptist Church in Dalton. Pray for these men that God would use them in a mighty way.
Directions to Moriah Baptist Church, 2864 Battlefield Parkway, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742. From points south take I-75 N to exit 350 Ringgold/Ft. Oglethorpe. Turn left onto Battlefield Parkway going toward Fort Oglethorpe. Go 4.2 miles, make a U-turn and go back .2 miles to the church. From points north take I-75 S to exit 353 and turn right on Cloud Springs Road. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Dietz Road and go 1.4 miles to Battlefield Parkway. Turn right and go 1 mile. Make a U-turn and go back .2 miles to the church.
