Dear Preacher
The Deep Springs Baptist Church sure treated all the preachers special at the August fellowship meeting. The Lord blessed our souls through the special singing and both messages, Bro. Tony Hyatt preached on “Praying in Time of Trouble”. He took his text from 2 Chronicles 14:1-15. Our second preacher was Bro. Jack Scallion. He brought his message from Colossians 4:17 on “Take heed to the ministry”. What a great blessing to have opportunity to hear such great preaching. We also want to thank Bro. Dale Kidd and all the Deep Springs Baptist church family for being a gracious host and for providing the hamburger and hotdog meal for all the preachers.
Our Next meeting will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 @ Bible Baptist Church, the host Pastor is Bro. Ricky Gravley. The Preachers for September are Bro. Mike Combs Jr. the Pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church in Hixon, TN and Bro. James Jones the Pastor at Harriman Baptist Tabernacle in Harriman, TN.
Directions to Bible Baptist Church; traveling west on Hwy 2A cross Hwy 27 at Fort Oglethorpe, continue 1 ½ miles, turn left onto Happy Valley Rd. before you get to Ridgeland High School. Continue on Happy Valley Road, turn at the second left onto Talley Lane, Bible Baptist church is on the right.
Please pray for the September meeting, invite and bring another preacher with you. The Pastor and Church family of Bible Baptist are planning a special day of fellowship, let us be a blessing to them as they are to us.
