Dear Preacher
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133:1 That is exactly the experience I felt during the August meeting at Gethsemane Baptist Church. What a blessing to hear Battlefield Baptist Church Choir sing praises to our Lord Jesus Christ in the meeting! We want to thank Pastor Ronnie Brown and all the good Church folks for their hospitality and for providing a delicious meal for all the preachers. Bro. Terry Pace preached a great message on “It’s Time to Dig a Well.” He took his text from Numbers 21:16-18. The message was a real encouragement to the preachers, Israel sang this song, “Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:” and we can too.
NOTICE the date for our next meeting has been changed from Thursday, September 3rd to 10:00 am Thursday September 10th at the Bible Baptist Church in Rossville, GA where Pastor Ricky Gravley is the host Pastor. The guest preachers will be Bro. Burman Cape Jr. Pastor of Floyd Rd. Baptist Church in Austell, GA and Bro. Randy Bell Pastor of Lupton Drive Baptist Church in Hixon, TN.
Also during the September meeting the fellowship will be nominating a preacher to represent us in the 2010 Georgia Statewide Fellowship. Please pray about this and consider those men who have been faithful to our fellowship and/or have attended the statewide fellowship in past years.
